What is Christmas about?
The value we’ll be studying is peace, which is calm and quiet, like a starry night in the country.
For manners, we’ll practice saying hello and good-bye and saying thank you for a gift.
Outside, we’ll play Rudolf, Rudolf Reindeer.
The songs we’ll be singing are Let There Be Peace on Earth, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Deck the Halls, Up on the Housetop, and Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer.
For creative dramatics, we’ll act out The Night Before Christmas.
Our art activities will be hand-y Christmas tree, Santa face lid, Christmas collage, pinecone Christmas tree, standup tree, and candy cane animals.
For motor development, we’ll work on coordination with holiday colors and carry Santa’s toys.. For proprioception, we’ll do pushups, pass the jug, tow truck, and leap frog.
