SHOW AND TELL

Bring a picture of an animal that

lives in North America.

Topic: North America

Exploring our home continent.

The value we’ll be studying is frugality, which is not being wasteful.

For cooking, we’ll make cottage cheese.

Outside, we’ll learn to twirl, an important vestibular exercise.

The songs we’ll be singing are This Land Is My Land, God Bless America, America the Beautiful, America, and She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain.

For creative dramatics, we’ll learn some of the folklore stories of our land.

Our art activities will be sweet-gum spider, scary tree, torn paper ghosts, salt jack-o-lanterns, and porcupines.

For motor development we’ll work on strength with pushups, sit-ups, and chin-ups. For bilaterality, we’ll play sack race, food chain, and wishing well.
