Bring a picture of an animal

that lives on the North

American continent.

Topic: North America

What’s North America about?

The value we’ll be studying is frugality, which is to not be wasteful.  We need to be frugal because our earth needs us to be careful with everything we have.

For cooking, we’ll be making cottage cheese.

Outside, we’ll be twirling and doing jumping jacks.

The songs we’ll be singing are America, America the Beautiful, God Bless America, This Land is My Land, and She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain.

For creative dramatics, we’ll act out some American folk tales

Our art activities will be sweet-gum spiders, scary tree, torn paper ghosts, and pumpkin prints.

For motor development, we’ll work on strength exercises. For bilaterality, we’ll  have a sack race, pass balls around the circle, and wind up a bucket from the wishing well.
