SHOW AND TELL

Bring a small mirror to reflect sun on the playground.

Topic: Physics:

All things have a ‘why’ and a ‘how’

The value is justice, a quality that scientists must have as they seek truth regardless of what their personal positions are.

For science, we’ll do experiments about bubble bombs, concave and convex images, vibrations, and energy transfer.

Outside, we’ll use our mirrors to play games with the sun.

The songs we’ll be singing are Wheels on the Bus, Let’s Go Fly a Kite, Catch a Falling Star, and You Are My Sunshine.

For creative dramatics, we’ll do physics like prehistoric people might have.

Our art activities are paper chains, painting with marbles, squirt painting, cool art, and alligator levers.

For motor development, we’ll work on coordination with the balance beam and balloons. For motor planning we’ll play Simon says, bean bag toss, and word lightning.
