SHOW AND TELL

Bring a picture of a wild animal and a domestic animal

Topic: Wild Animals

Learn about the wild animals

that share our world

The value we’ll be studying is frugality, which is not wasting, only using what we need and never taking more than our share.

For ecology, we’ll see how much land is available for making food for us all.

Outside, we’ll go on an animal hunt.

The songs we’ll be singing are The Bear Went Over the Mountain, Animal Fair, Five Little Speckled Frogs, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Today.

For creative dramatics, we’ll learn How the Rhinoceros Got His Wrinkled Skin.

Our art activities are paint on burlap, turtle puppet, giraffe puppet, and goofy animals.

For motor development we’ll work on flexibility with yoga poses. For motor planning, we’ll run an obstacle course, play with traffic lights, and do stunts with hula hoops.
