About the geography and culture of Australia
The value we’ll be studying is compassion, which is the ability to understand the feelings and situation of another person.
For science, we’ll be making jar lid timers.
Outside, we’ll be trying to get a boomerang to come back to us.
The songs we’ll be singing are Waltzin’ Matilda, Kookaburra, It’s a Small World, Michael Finnegan, and Teddy Bear.
For creative dramatics, we’ll learn the story of The Animal That Came With the Wind.
Our art activities will be koala bears, boomerangs, clothespin lambs, and boats.
For motor development, we’ll be working on strength with push ups and crawl pulls.. For body movement, we’ll be working on proprioceptive skills with around the clock, bean baggers, and loaded up.
