Bring something hard and something soft.

Topic: South America

Enjoy the unique cultures of this diverse continent.

The value we’ll be studying is justice, which explores both sides of the fairness issue of destroying the rainforest

Outside, we’ll be playing tag.

The songs we’ll be singing are Zippity-do-dah, Seventy-six Trombones, Rock Around the Clock, I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, Lean on Me, and de Colores.

For creative dramatics, we’ll act out South American animals.

Our art activities will be ponchos, pan flute, string art, and cut-paper abstracts.

For motor development, we’ll be working on coordination with South American music.  For body movement,  we’ll be working on proprioception with tug-of-war, bulldozers, and turtles.
