SHOW AND TELL
Bring a rock to paint.
Learn about the inside of the earth
The value we’ll be studying is self-reliance, which is trusting one’s own judgment and abilities in things we think and things we do.
For science, we’ll be learning about stalactites and stalagmites.
Outside, we’ll watch how rivers form.
The songs we’ll be singing are This Land Is Your Land, Catch a Falling Star, Today, Down by the Bay, and Do Your Ears Hang Low? We’ll also be doing patterned clapping and breathing.
For creative dramatics, we’ll pretend to be a river or a volcano.
Our art activities will be making crystals, painting rocks, and food color migration.
For motor development, we’ll practice yoga poses. For vestibular function, we’ll play twist and shout, wind-up top, beanbag toss, and keeping a ball between our knees while hopping.
