SHOW AND TELL
Bring something hard and
something soft.
Topic: South America
Learn about our South American neighbors
The value we’ll be studying is justice, particularly as it applies to destroying the rain forest.
Outside, we’ll play soccer and chasing games.
The songs we’ll be singing are de Colores, Zippity-do-dah, Seventy-six Trombones, Rock Around the Clock, I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, and Lean on Me.
For creative dramatics, we’ll act out animals from the rain forest.
Our art activities will be ponchos, pan flutes, string art, and cut paper abstracts.
For motor development, we’ll work on dancing with Latin American beats. For proprioceptive, we’ll play tug-of-war, bulldozers, and turtles.
