Learn how feathered creatures adapt to their habitats.
The value we’ll be studying is wisdom, which is the power of judging rightly.
For science, we’ll be making rainbows and a bird in a cage.
Outside, we’ll be playing hot and cold.
The songs we’ll be singing are Do, Re, Mi, Zippity-do-dah, He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands, Down by the Bay, Bluebird, and Where is Thumbkin?
For creative dramatics, we’ll read an Indian story called Eagle’s Nest.
Our art activities will be nature collage, bird nest puppets, amate paper painting, clay figures, and bird in a nest.
For motor development, we’ll be working on flexibility with yoga postures. For body movement, we’ll be working on motor planning by making letters and numbers with our bodies and also following music.
