SHOW AND TELL
Bring something magical
(flower bud, egg, lava lamp?)
Topic: Faerie Tales
It’s okay to be silly sometimes.
The value we’ll be studying is joy, which is one of the surest ways to live life most deeply.
For cooking, we’ll make letter pretzels.
Outside, we’ll play pretend to be bubbles.
The songs we’ll be singing are Puff the Magic Dragon, Do Your Ears Hang Low?, Ain’t It Great to Be Crazy?, Zippity-do-dah, and Where Is Thumbkin?.
For creative dramatics, we’ll pretend to have an imaginary friend.
Our art activities will be faces on balloons, rainbow fairies, cloud bubbles, and clothespin butterflies.
For motor development, we’ll work on stamina with hopping, jumping, and running. For bilaterality, we’ll play putting, wishing well, and sack race.
